Step-by-Step Guide: How to Swap your Solana Neocollectibles to Polygon!

We can’t wait to explore this new horizon with you. In this article, let us guide you through the simple process of transferring your Neocollectibles from Solana to Polygon.

What you need to prepare:

1. A Solana wallet containing your Neopets Genesis collectibles, Pizzaroo and Masterpiece Collections.
2. A MetaMask wallet that is connected to the Polygon Network.
3. Solana wallet with enough SOL inside!
4. Use Google Chrome as your browser.

STEP ONE:

To get started, https://swap.neopetsmeta.io to locate our swap portal. Then, connect your Solana wallet that contains your Neocollectibles. It’s important to verify that you’re on the correct network and have enough SOL coins in your wallet (you will need them to pay the gas fee) to complete the transaction. Double-check these details before proceeding.

STEP TWO:

Once you’ve connected your wallet, you can view your swap history and see the relevant Neocollectibles on the screen. You’ll be prompting you to connect your Solana wallet. You’ll need to connect your Phantom, Solflare, Ledger, Slope, Sollet, or Torus Wallet to do this.

Next, confirm the connection to your Solana wallet and approve the signature on your Solana wallet.

STEP THREE:

After connecting your wallet, click on the “New Swap” button.

A sidebar will appear that displays all Neocollectible you have. Now, select the Neocollectible you want to swap.

Warning: Don’t close the website while the swap is in progress, as doing so could put your assets at risk.

STEP FOUR: Click “Connect Polygon wallet”

Click the “Connect Polygon wallet” button to receive a prompt to connect your MetaMask Wallet. Select the MetaMask account for swapping, and ensure it’s connected to the Polygon Network. Confirm your connection and signature to the network.

Once completed, you’ll be redirected to the main screen, where you can confirm the “SWAP.”

STEP FIVE:

Before swapping, carefully read the “Notes to Swap’’ instructions. Check that you have enough SOL in your Solana wallet to cover the transaction fee. After confirming that, click on “Confirm to Swap.” The next step is to approve the transaction on your Solana wallet. It is essential to ensure that the domain is correct (swap.neopetsmeta.io).

STEP SIX: Completed!

Once you’ve submitted your swap request, you’ll be directed to a screen that verifies the swap and displays your transaction history. And that’s it! Congratulations on fully transferring your Neocollectibles to Polygon!

After submitting your swap request, please be aware that processing may take up to 48 hours. You can keep track of the progress of your transaction by clicking on “View Swap History.”

How to check my transaction progress

Once you have connected your wallet, you can view all transaction records on the page below. If your transaction has been completed, click “View Neocollectible” to see your new Neocollectible on the Polygon network.

Unfortunately, our swapping portal is not compatible with mobile browsers yet. We suggest accessing it via a desktop or laptop using the Chrome browser for a safer experience.

4. How does the portal work?

Upon submitting your swap request, your Solana Neocollectible will initially be sent to our official cold wallet. Once we receive your Solana Neocollectible, we will mint a new Neocollectible and send it to your Polygon wallet.

5. Is the swapping process free of charge?

We do not charge anything for swapping. However, there will be a transaction fee when sending your Neocollectible to our cold wallet. The transaction fee is typically around 0.002 SOL, so please ensure your wallet has enough SOL to cover it. If your wallet has no SOL, we suggest purchasing it from reputable CEXes/DEXes.

6. What should I do if my transaction has failed?

If your transaction status shows as “failed,” you can click the highlighted button to access more details on Solscan.

Then copy the transaction number and submit a ticket on the general-support channel on our Discord.

7. Can I do the swapping on Firefox Incognito mode?

Unfortunately, our swapping portal does not support Firefox in incognito mode. We suggest accessing it by Chrome browser.
