Neopets Metaverse: Sale Date and Process Announcement
We’re excited to announce that on November 12, 2021, the Neopets Metaverse Collection NFTs will be launching!
The Neopets Metaverse are a collection of 10,500 uniquely generated, cute and loveable Neopets NFTs living on the Solana Blockchain. Stay tuned for more updates on potential Neopets Metaverse-only benefits!
This article will cover the two sections: 1) the Neopets Metaverse Collection Box (NMC) launch 2) NMC redemption for a Neopets Metaverse Collection NFT.
1. NMC launch:
Sale Process Overview:
1. When the NMC sale goes live on the Neopets Metaverse website, users can purchase a NMC for a specified number of SOLs based on the pricing schedule.
2. Each NMC can then be redeemed on the project website to mint one original NFT from the collection at random.
3. The Neopets Metaverse team have decided to conduct the sale process separately from the Raydium DropZone launchpad to incorporate a more bespoke sale process that we believe can reward early supporters of the project.
NMC Box sale details
- Total NFTs in collection: 10,500 Neopets Metaverse NFTs
- Total NMC for sale: 10,000 NMC, each redeemable for 1 NFT
- NMC price: as per schedule below:
- Model: First come first serve basis
- Max NMC purchases per transaction: 10 NMC
- Sale of NMC opens: November 12, 09:00 UTC
- Sale of NMC ends: November 15, 09:00 UTC
- Open period of NMC sale: 3 days
IMPORTANT: NMC must be redeemed on the Neopets Metaverse website by November 18, 10:00 UTC.
How does it work?
At launch we will be allowing purchases and management through two of Solana’s main wallets; Phantom and Sollet.
Purchasing a NMC is simple. Connect your Solana wallet and follow the buy prompts.
1. Download the Phantom or Sollet wallet extension for your browser (Google Chrome recommended).
2. Buy Solana (SOL) on an exchange like Binance, Coinbase and FTX etc and send it to your Phantom or Sollet wallet address.
3. Connect your Wallet to our website by clicking on the Connect Your Wallet button.
4. Select desired number of NMC, click the “Buy” button on the Neopets Metaverse website and approve the transaction in your Wallet.
2. NMC redemption for a Neopets Metaverse Collection NFT:
- After the NMC sale ends, users can then redeem their NMC for one Neopets Metaverse Collection NFT.
- NMC must be redeemed on the Neopets Metaverse website by November 18, 10:00 UTC.
